Teddy Ray JARNIGAN743 was born on 11 May 1936.743 He died in a plane crash on 11 February 1955.743 At the age of 16, Teddy felt that the Lord was calling him to the mission fields. He bought a Stinson plane and received his pilot's license at age 16. He began preparing for the ministry while still in high school. He needed experience in night flying to obtain a commercial pilot's license. His plane crashed in the rugged mountain between Knoxville and Atlanta on 11 Feb 1955. The reception room at the Knox Co. Lodge at Ridgecrest, NC has been furnished in memory of Teddy Ray Jarnigan.
