12. Daniel SHARP was born in 1769 in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN.⁹ He owned on 22 October 1807 in Campbell Co., TN. Indenture, Oct 22, 1807, Between Daniel Sharp of Campbell Co., TN of the one part and Conrad Sharp, County and State aforesaid, of the other part, Consideration $700. Certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in Campbell County, on Lost Creek in the cold? Valley. Being a part of the tract of land where the said Daniel Sharp now lives. Containing 136 acres, more or less.
Beginning on two plumb trees, Henry Sharp's corner, thence S. 67 degrees W? 40 poles to a white oak, said Henry's corner, thence N. 87 degrees W. 40 poles to a white oak, thence S 30 degrees E. 92 poles to two dogwoods, on Jacob Sharp's line, thence N. 45 degrees W. 134 poles to a white oak, thence N. 45 E 38 poles to a dogwood & white oak near Peggy Lay's corner, thence S. 35 degrees E. 49 poles to a black oak, Peggy Lay's corner, thence E.60 degrees E. 84 poles to a Spanish Oak, then on the original line to the beginning, with wood ways, water courses, etc., etc. and all the estate right, title and interest, property claim, etc. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of. 22 Oct 1807.

He died in 1809 in Sharp's Station, Union Co., TN.⁹ Perhaps buried in an unmarked grave near the old fort and also near where Peter Graves, victim of the Indians in 1794, was buried. Page 127, UCHS Pathways, Dec 1989 also page 85, Sept 93.

Daniel SHARP and Jane HOWARD were married on 3 April 1799 in Knox Co., TN.^15,26,27 Bondsman, John Gibbs. Jane HOWARD was born in 1769.¹⁵ She died in Sharp's Chapel, Union Co., TN.¹⁵ Some think her name was Jane Hamilton.

Daniel SHARP and Jane HOWARD had the following children:

Daniel SHARP and Catherine HENSON were married on 20 December 1802 in Knox Co., TN.¹⁵ Catherine HENSON was born (date unknown).
