He signed a will on 18 October 1860 in Union Co., TN.35 I, William Sharp, of the County of Union and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and disposing memory make this my last will and testament, disposing of all my real estate and personal property as has pleased God to bless me with; and first I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be speedily paid.
2nd I give and bequeath to my son, Alfred Sharp, all the land that part which I laid off for him adjoining the land which he bought of Col. Ramsey which he is now in possession of. Also one Negro boy named Jim; also one Negro girl named Rebecca: which he is in possession of or R' cd of.
3rd I give and bequeath to my son, Caswell Sharp, all the land that I laid off for him whereon he now lives and in possession of as I laid it off for him as above: also one Negro boy named Lewis: also one Negro girl named Lotty which he has received.
4th I give and bequeath to my son, Hamilton Sharp, all the land I laid off for him which he is now in possession of as I laid off: two Negro boys named Gavin and Haisel which he has r'cd.
5th I give and bequeath to my son, Eli Sharp, all the land I laid off for him which is now in possession of as I laid it off: also one Negro boy named Call: also one Negro girl named Fidelly which he has received.
6th I give to my son, Francis Sharp, all the land he is in possession of as I laid it off for him: also two Negro boys named Lewis and Calaway which he has received.
7th I give and bequeath to my son McHenry Sharp, the home place as I laid it off: and at my beloved wife's death he is to have it entirely. Also one Negro boy named Levi, also one Negro girl named Betsy which he has received: also on be stead and furniture.
8th I give to my daughter Jenny Irwin, (now deceased) three Negroes namely Green, Vine, and Clarecy: and other property sufficient to make her equal to the gift give to my other daughters: which she received.
9th I give to my daughter, Lucy Miller, (now deceased) two Negroes named Liby and Nervy: and other property sufficient to make her equal to the gift given to my daughters.
10th I give to my daughter, Louiza Loy, two Negro girls: namely Sally and Seak: and other property sufficient to make her equal to my other daughters: which she has received.
11th I give to my daughter, Orlena Craig, one Negro boy named Jim: also one Negro girl named Nerva: and other property sufficient to make her equal to my daughters: which she has received.
12th I give to my daughter, Nancy Lee, two Negroes named Rufus and Freely: and other property sufficient to make her equal to my other daughters: which she has received.
13th I give to my daughter Nelly Miller, two Negroes: namely Tomas and Martha and other property sufficient to make her equal to my other daughters: which she has received.
14th I give to my daughter, Sarah Stooksbury, two Negroes namely Harvey and Lethro and other property sufficient to make her equal to my other daughters; which she has already received.
15th I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Maryan Sharp, the tract of land lying in whats called the bent adjoining the lands of Eli Sharp: running with the lines Eli Sharp and myself made; and with the meandering of the Clinch River to the beginning: whereon John Baily now lives: one Negro girl named Jane: also I give her all the household and kitchen furniture: the above named land and Negro she is to have when she marrys: or becomes of age: and the household and kitchen furniture she is to have at my wife's death or sooner if I think proper to give and should there be any property or money or debts or land at the death of myself and wife: it is to be equally divided between my son McHenry and my daughter Maryan: I therefore declare the above my last Will and Testament: Revoking all former Wills and Testaments: signed, sealed and acknowledged in the presence of:
I further appoint Alfred Sharp, my executor to this my last Will and Testament this 18th day October 1860.

Personally appeared in open Court Lewis Miller, C. C. Sharp, and George W. Loy subscribing witnesses to the within Will, who being first sworn, deposed and said that they were personally acquainted with William Sharp, deceased, and saw him sign and hear him acknowledge the within instrument to be his last Will and Testament and that he was of sound mind and disposing memory at the time of signing the same. Station Bill died on 25 June 1862 in Sharp's Station, Union Co., TN.9,25,36 He was buried in June 1862 in Sinking Springs Methodist Church Cemetery, Anderson Co., TN. Moved for Norris Lake.
Know as "Station Bill", he lived and died at Sharp's Station. After Rachel Stoner died he married Jane Irwin. Jane is a sister to John Irwin that married Jane Sharp. That made William, John's father in law AND his brother in law.
