ELVIRA SHARP - Mrs. Elvira Sharp was born November 11, 1873, died August 14, 1944, age 70. She was married to Calvin Sharp about 1891. To this union were born 10 children, 3 sons and 7 daughters. Four daughters and husband preceded her in death. She professed a faith in Christ when young and joined the Church at Oak Grove on February 1914. She was a devoted mother. During her illness she called all of her children to her bedside and asked them if they were all ready to meet her in heaven. We feel that she is at rest. Funeral was conducted by Elder T. G. Brantley and Elder Leonard White. She was buried in the Lynnhurst Cemetery.
