She appeared in the census in 1880 in Monterey, Owen Co., KY.²⁶ Addie LAURENCE Dau F S W 2 KY Fa: KY Mo: KY She died of consumption on 10 March 1903. Brought on from falling from a horse. Addie was buried in March 1903 in Claxon Cemetery, Owen Co., KY.⁴⁴ No death date on stone. First wife of Henley Johnson. Buried in the Claxon Cemetery, Claxon Ridge, KY 607, two miles from US 127 above Monterey. No death date on stone. Family rumor says that a horse reared up and killed her.

Addie LAWRENCE and Henley Roberts JOHNSON were married about 1895 in KY. Henley Roberts JOHNSON⁴⁵ was born on 22 September 1870 in Owen Co., KY.⁴⁵ Date on tombstone. He lived in Georgetown, Scott Co., KY in 1910. He died on 22 December 1963 in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY.⁴⁵ Died at 3:30 pm Sunday at his residence after an illness of 13 months. Henley was buried on 24 December 1963 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington, KY.⁴⁵ Services will be conducted at 11:30 Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by Rev. Clarke Bloomfield. Bearers wil be Howard F. McKenzie Jr., William D. Johnson Jr., Carl Johnson Jr., James Ray Johnson, Robert Estill Johnson and Thomas Wayne Johnson, all grandsons.
Lived at 1824 Versailles Pike, Lexington, KY. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Owen County.
