17. Benjamin C. ACUFF was born in 1802 in Grainger Co., TN.^4,14 He appeared in the census in 1860 in District 12, Grainger Co., TN. He appeared in the census in 1870 in District 12, Grainger Co., TN. Benjamin appeared in the census in 1880 in District 12, Grainger Co., TN.¹⁴ In 1880 he was an a miller in Grainger Co., TN.¹⁴ He died after 8 June 1880 in TN.⁴

Benjamin C. ACUFF and Nancy COLLINGSWORTH were married in 1824 in TN.^4,13 Nancy COLLINGSWORTH was born on 15 March 1801 in VA.⁴ She died on 21 April 1859 in Grainger Co., TN.⁴ She was buried in April 1859 in Kitts Cemetery, Grainger Co., TN.⁴
