David GIBBS was born on 18 April 1774 in Orange Co., NC.¹⁵⁴ He died on 5 June 1847 at the age of 73 in Knox Co., TN.¹⁵⁴ David and Sarah are believed to be buried at the cemetery with his father and mother that is located on Emory Road, Corryton, TN. David's will dated 4 May 1847 and on file at the Knox Co., TN. Courthouse Estates Book 9, page 364, leaves "land where I now live" to son Nicholas, who in return was to support his mother, Sarah, during her lifetime, also a brother, Henry, who was mentally unbalanced. After Sarah's death the property was to be sold and divided equally among the children except Henry. Witness: George Graves and Henderson Clapp. Deed Book A, page 240 Claiborne County, TN Deed dated 27 Dec 1805 from David Gibbs of Knox Co. to Martin Rice of Claiborne for 100 acres of land in Claiborne Co., TN. lying on the north side of the river Clinch in Bold Valley, both sides of Lost Creek. Taxpayers, David Gibbs for 170 acres.1830 Knox Co. census lists David Gibbs #373 00102001-01122001. 1850 Sarah Gibbs age 73, B. VA. was living with Nicholas T. Gibbs and family. Sarah H. TILLMAN and David GIBBS were married on 4 May 1797 in Knox Co., TN.^154,155

47. Sarah H. TILLMAN was born on 4 May 1777 in Botetourt Co., VA.^154,156,157 She died on 17 July 1857 at the age of 80 in Knox Co., TN.^154,156

John Tillman GIBBS was born on 22 May 1797 in Knox Co., TN.^154,155 He died in 1881 at the age of 84 in IL.¹⁵⁴ Wife and children also listed in Our Union Co. Heritage, Vol. 2, page 194.

Mary GIBBS was born on 7 February 1801 in Knox Co., TN.¹⁵⁵ She was living in 1830 in Anderson Co., TN.

Elizabeth GIBBS was born on 11 November 1804 in Knox Co., TN. She died on 16 March 1866 at the age of 61 in Labette Co., KS. She was buried in March 1866 in Franklin Co., IL.
v.
Henry GIBBS was born on 21 January 1807 in TN.^155,158 He died on 28 February 1868 at the age of 61 in Corryton, Knox Co., TN.^155,158 Clapp Chapel Cemetery list has 28 Feb 1853 as death date.
He was buried in March 1868 in Clapp's Chapel Cemetery, Knox Co., TN.¹⁵⁸ Mentally unbalanced.

Sarah Angeline GIBBS was born on 10 January 1809 in Knox Co., TN. 1880 census would have her birth date ca 1823. She died on 19 March 1898 at the age of 89 in Dryden, Josephine Co., OR. She was buried in March 1898 in Deer Creek Cemetery, Dryden, Josephine Co., OR. Buried in the Deer Creek Cemetery, Dryden Co., Joseph, Oregon.
