Suzann had been a cook and custodian at North Decatur High School and a nurses aide at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She graduated in 1947 from Burney High School. She was a member of Pythian Sisters Temple 433, in Greensburg, and Eastern Star in Shelbyville.
