This Indenture made and entered into this 29th Nov A D one thousand eight hundred and seventy six between John Sharp and Mary sharp of the County of Anderson and State of Tennessee of the one part and Hesikeih Rutherford and his hires of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said John and Mary Sharp for and in consideration of the sum of 50.00 fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell and transfer unto the said Hesekoh Rutherford and his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land lying in Anderson County in the state of Tennessee District No 2 bound as follows towit beginning on a Chestnut on the lot line on the southside of the riged thence north with lot line to a stake and le?t w?? Jacob Pile and Delila Poor thence with said Delila Poor line southeast to a maples and stake on the lot line Southeast to a maple and stake on the lot line Southeast- With the lot line to a stake and pas took were James Moody house thence Northeast with a conditionally line made between John Sharp and Hesijah Rutherford to the beginning conatinaing twenty five acres more or less with all singers the wood waters here determents ???? an issues tot he said Hesijahkire Rutherford and his heirs and assigns forever the said John and Mary Sharp convenat withthe said Hesijahkire Rutherford and his heirs that they have a good right to said land and have a right to convey the same and they further covants and bind themselves and heirs forever to warrant and defend the title to the said land tot he said Hesijahkire Rutherford an his heirs against the lawful claims and demands of all person whatsoever in Witness whereof they have hereunto signed there proper names to theirs ???ections seal the day and year above written
