Rev. Oscar Odare BATE, son of Edward BATE and Mary PITTS, was born on 15 October 1922 in Crandon, Forest Co., WI. He was educated Bob Jones University in 1955 in Greenville, Greenville Co., SC. He died on 4 April 2003 at the age of 80 in SC. Oscar was buried on 7 April 2003 in Graceland East Memorial Park, Simpsonville, SC. From October 1955 to October 1980 he was a Pastor in Sunnyside Community Church, North Rose, NY. He served in the military in Army Air Force, WWII. He was an airplane propeller mechanic. Served with U.S. Army in WWII. Graduate of Bob Jones University in SC. Youngest of 9 children.
