Last Friday evening the various Christian Endeavor societies of
Whitsett, Brick Church, Mt. Hope, etc., met in the Reformed church at
this place for a social evening. The gathering was in charge of Miss Ava
Clapp, the president of the society at this place. She has provided a
most excellent program, and the evening was greatly enjoyed by the large
gathering that attended.
Ava was living on 12 January 1949 in McConnels, York Co., SC.
