David Abram CORTNER and Catherine AMICK were married on 7 August 1828 in Clark Co., IN.⁹² Catherine AMICK, daughter of Peter AMICK and Margaret BLACK, was born on 10 December 1810 in Randolph Co., NC.³⁴⁹ She died on 1 November 1835 at the age of 24 in Clark Co., IN.³⁴⁹ Catherine, born 3 Jan 1809, baptized 18 May 1809, could be daughter of John Amick, a son of Nicholas Amick in records of the Richland Evangelical Lutheran Church.
