Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Emma Clapp; and brother, Tommy Clapp. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Bettye Ann Clapp; son, Kenny Clapp and wife Tina; daughter, Kim Smith and husband John; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Jason Moorman, Ciara and husband Brad Porter, Brandon (fiancé Kaylon and son, Conner) and Kenny; great grandchildren, Blakley and Mackenzie; brother, Lonnie D. Clapp; sister, Darlene Clapp Dunn; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Washington Pike Presbyterian Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Barney Evans officiating.
