He is survived by his wife, Sherry Gail Smith; parents, Ronald Talmadge Clapp and Myra Jean Clapp; children, Ronald Casey Clapp and wife Aislyn, Brandy Nicole Clapp, Jamesana Joy Clapp, Aaron Seth Clapp, and Jacob Connor Clapp; grandson, Silas Aidan Clapp; brother, Kevin Clapp and wife Kim; sisters, Rhonda Clapp Terrell and husband Jeffrey and Angela Lynn Galdi and husband Joe.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Lynn Clapp.
A memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at McClure Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Larry Redding. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glen Hope Baptist Church
