MORRIS, MRS. EFFIE WALKER - AGE 89, Knoxville, died Wednesday, Nov. 19th., Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Widow of Harold H. Morris Sr. Member Church Street United Methodist Church. Former member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church. Academic school teacher, Knoxville City Schools. Former Bible instructor with Christenberry City School. Sunday school teacher for 45 years at Washington Pike United Methodist Church. Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Eugene D. (Virginia Morris) White; sons, Harold H. (Hal) Morris, Knoxville, Charles Radley [sic], Carson City, Nev.; granddaughter, Ann Morris White; grandsons, Robert Bradley Morris, Duncan White, all of Knoxville; two great-granddaughters; sister, Mrs. Ted (Helen) Scarbeck, Memphis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Friday, Mann's Heritage Chapel, Dr. Toombs H. Kay Jr. and Rev. Kenneth Perkins officiating. Interment Highland Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers: D.
