14952. David Kendall DOSSETT was born on 14 March 1913 in Spokane, Spokane Co., WA. He died on 18 November 2000 at the age of 87 in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN. DOSSETT, D. KENDALL - age 87 of Knoxville, died 4:22 a.m. Saturday November 18, 2000 at Holston Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a General Contractor and long time home builder, having served as President and holding numerous Executive positions of the General Knoxville Assoc. of Home Builder's. Served on the State Board of Tennessee Builders and was voted State Builder of the Year in 1973. Served as Director of National Home builders. Member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church. Teacher of Belle Bible Class of 23 years. Member of the Christian Service Class. Preceded in death by parents, William Harrison and Margaret Dossett; nephew, Bill Luethke. Survivors: wife, Louise Gound Dossett; sister, Helen Dossett Luethke; nieces, Linda Luethke Wilson, Peggy Luethke English; nephews, Michael and Steve Luethke. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery 1:45 p.m. on Monday for a 2 p.m. graveside service and interment. Rev. Jim Bales will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be the Christian Service Class, nieces and nephews.
