NELLIE JANE GREESON Mrs. Nellie Jane Greeson, 80, died at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. M. N. Greeson, Greensboro, Route 2, after having been in failing health for two years. Death, however, was quite sudden. The body was removed this afternoon to the home of another daughter, Mrs. J. H. Coble, Burlington, Route 1, where it will remain until Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock when it will be removed to Brick Church for the funeral service Rev. D. I. Offman, pastor of the church, will conduct the service. She was for many years a member of Lowe's Lutheran church. Other immediate surviving relatives are: Mrs. D. C. Steward; two sons, J. P., of Oklahoma; and H. D. Greeson, of Alabama, also two sisters, Mrs. Dora Free, of Randolph county, and Mrs. Will Garrett, of this city, and one brother, Vonnie Euliss, of Hickory. Sixteen grandchildren also survive. (second Obit) The Burlington (NC) Daily Times-News, 20 Feb 1933. MRS. NELLIE JANE GREESON Funeral service for Mrs. Nellie Jane Greeson, 80, widow of the late M. N. Greeson, whose death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. C. Stewart, Greensboro, Route 2, was conducted at Brick Reformed church, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. D. I. Offman. The body was removed from the home of Mrs. Stewart on Saturday to the home of another daughter, Mrs. J. H. Coble, Burlington, route 1, where it remained until the funeral service hour. Interment was made in the Brick Church cemetery. In addition to the daughters named above two sons survive: J. F., of Oklahoma, and H. D. Greeson, of Jones, Alabama; also two sisters, Mrs. W. R. Garrett, of this city, and Mrs. Dora Free, at Randolph county; also a brother, Vannie Euliss, of Hickory. Sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Pallbearers were: J. M. and F. P. Crouse, E. C. and J. L. Euliss, R. F. Snyde and Eugene Ingle. The flowers were to charge of Miss Agnes Stewart and were carried by Misses Lucy, Julia Vivian and Esther Coble and Mrs. Homer Herring.
