Elmo F., son, M, W, 2, S, IN, IN, IN He died on 7 November 2000 at the age of 92 in Port Charlotte, Charlotte Co., FL. Died in Fawcette memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, FL. Elmo was buried on 11 November 2000 in French Lick, Orange Co., IN. Buried in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana. Wrote the book "The German Clapp's in America" c.1978 Lib. of Congress #78-111438. Elmo was a graduate of Oakland City College and Indiana University with a master's degree in education. He taught school for 18 years in Dubois County, IN, four years in Martin County, IN. and 21 years as an elementary school principal in Evansville, IN. The last 17 years in Evansville were as principal of West Terrace Elementary School, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Punta Gordo, FL. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Reed Lodge and the Scottish Rites of Evansville, IN. He was very active in Genealogy research.

Elmo Franklin CLAPP Sr. and Pauline Iris CASE were married on 9 January 1935. Pauline Iris CASE, daughter of James CASE and Myrtle POWELL, was born on 1 December 1916 in French Lick, Orange Co., IN. She died on 11 August 2004 at the age of 87 in Punta Gorda, Charlotte Co., FL.
