Mozelle Clapp Edwards Mebane – Mrs. Mozelle Clapp Edwards, 90, of 1518 Trollingwood-Hawfield’s Rd., Lot 6, Mebane, passed away at 2.45 AM, Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Hospice Home in Burlington. A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late Harold Lee Edwards and daughter of the late Walter E. and Georgia Coble Clapp. Mrs. Edwards was retired from General Electric and a member of Graham Friends Church. Surviving are two sons, Joe Edwards and wife Debra and John Edwards and wife Nancy all of Mebane; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Midgett and Rosett Shaw. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, September 19, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Rev. Nelson D. Puffenbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory in Graham from 2-4 PM, Sunday afternoon and other times at the residence of John & Nancy Edwards, 1025 Gibson Rd., Mebane.
