Mr. and Mrs. Flavious Jones and children were visitors at the home of
D. C. Greeson, Sunday evening. Clinton Fogleman and family spent Monday at
the home of L. M. Fogleman.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. McNeal and little daughter, visited at the home of
Mrs. Tom Smith, Monday evening. There will be a community singing at
Brick Church on the third Sunday in September, in the afternoon.
The Women's Bible class will have a social at the home of Kivett
Sheperd, on Saturday night, September 19th. There will be sandwiches,
weinies, ice cream and many other things for sale. Everybody is invited
to come. Kivett died on 14 December 1963 at the age of 81 in NC.⁸⁹⁸ He was buried in December 1963 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.⁸⁹⁸
