2640. Martin TROXLER was born in 1845.⁶¹³ He served in the military on 4 April 1862 in NC.¹⁴⁷⁰ Martin served under Capt. John L. Scales during the Civil War into the 45th Regiment, Co. D. He was mustered into duty at Camp Mangum, Raleigh, NC on 4 April 1862. he was discharged on 27 Feb 1863 for disability, but reenlisted on 1 Apr 1864. Martin was wounded at Reams Station, VA on 25 Aug 1864 and was paroled at Greensboro, NC 12 May 1865. his height was 5' 4".
