Maria Elizabeth CLAPP and John Adam VOLPEL were married on 29 October 1726 in Germany. Both emigrated with the Clapp family in 1727. Married in Weisenheim Am Berg, Rhineland Palatinate. List of children may be incomplete. John Adam VOLPEL, son of Anton VOLPEL, was a Cartwright/wagoner.

20	i.	Anna Catharine VOLPEL was born on 17 November 1730 in Oley Twp., Berks Co., PA. Baptized 1 Jan 1731, Sponsors: Michel Weigandt and wife.
21	ii.	Anna Maria VOLPEL was born on 25 January 1732 in Oley, Berks Co., PA. Baptized 19 Feb 1732 by Rev. John Casper Stover. Sponsors: Cunradt Roth and Maria Veronica Klappin.
