He helped to organize a Sunday School at Eldermont School on Alamance Road, April 12, 1914. During the third year of work it was decided to organize a church. The organization of Shiloh Presbyterian Church on Alamance Road took place on Sunday, February 11, 1917 with nineteen charter members. Perry Sharp was ordined and installed as an Elder of this church.
