A. G. Albright reported that seven sons and one son-in-law of this couple served in the Union Army during the Civil War. Mary SNODERLY, daughter of Henry SNODERLY and Mary WHITSON, was born on 12 November 1808 in TN.²⁵⁵ She died on 7 November 1883 at the age of 74 in Arcanum, Darke Co., OH. Buried in Abbottsville Centimeter, Van Buren Twp., Darke Co., Ohio.
