Edgar Lewis COLTRANE, son of Lewis Lemuel COLTRANE and Lula SMITH, was born on 17 October 1905 in Randolph Co., NC. He died on 5 October 1983 at the age of 77 in High Point, Guilford Co., NC. He was buried in October 1983 in Ebenezer UMC Cemetery, Archdale, Randolph Co., NC.

10727	i.	Wyatt Edgar COLTRANE was born in 1929. He died on 28 March 2014 at the age of 85 at Hospice Home in High Point, Guilford Co., NC. Wyatt Coltrane ARCHDALE — Wyatt Edgar Coltrane, 84, passed away on Friday, March 28th, at Hospice Home at High Point. He was the son of the late Edgar Lewis Coltrane and Myrtle English Coltrane. He was preceded in death by his brother, Boyd Coltrane. He worked in the furniture industry and farmed, raising tobacco. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church and was active in the Methodist Men. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helena (Lynn) Coltrane; three sons, Neal, Brad (Patti) and Eddie (Perri); five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Eloise Parkington of Florida. A celebration of his life is planned for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Fairfield United Methodist Church with Rev. Jill Auman and Dr. Don Haynes officiating. Visitation with friends will immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
