MRS. LULA SHEPHERD DEAD
Mrs. Lula L. Shepherd, aged 63 years, wife of S. L. Shepherd, died at their home on Route 1, Whitsett last night at 11:45, following two weeks of illness. She was born in that community and spent all or her life there.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Brick Church where the deceased was a member all of her life, by her pastor, Rev. C. E. Hiatt, and the body will be interred in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband; one sister. Mrs. J. C. O'Brien, Route 4, Burlington; and by several nieces and nephews. She was buried on 31 December 1930 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.¹⁸¹⁶
