Graves made an application for a Civil War pension 23 May 1913 at Russ, LaClede Co., MO. He enlisted as a Sergeant in Company H, 5th Regiment Provisional Enrolled Missouri Militia 1 Jun 1863; discharged from further duty 27 Nov 1863. Cert. 965,563.
