273. Catharina Elizabeth HAGEY was born on 15 December 1783 in Guilford Co., NC.¹⁶⁰ She died before 1850 at the age of 67. Baptized in the Brick Church, Guilford Co., NC. Sponsors: Adam Starr and his wife.

Catharina Elizabeth HAGEY and George FOUST were married on 15 February 1803 in Brick Church, Guilford Co., NC. George FOUST, son of John Philip FOUST and Catharine CLAPP, was born in 1780 in Orange Co., NC. He died in 1852 at the age of 72. George was from Clinch, TN. Born ca 178?, it is known that Philip and Catherine had a son named George, but that is all that has been found by Mozette Foust. See page 24, Mozette Foust book. Shortly after George was born his family moved to Sullivan Co., TN where George was raised. As a young man George returned to NC for the prupose of finding a wife. he married Catherine Hagey and they returned to TN to live.
