Golden Wedding Dinner given Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Albright on Thanksgiving

Mrs. J. L. Kernodle and Mrs. L. E. Shaw entertained at Mrs. Kernodle's
country home Thanksgiving, honoring Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Albright whose
golden wedding anniversary was November 23.

One very unusual guest was the mother of the golden wedding bride, Mrs.
Tempie Albright, age 94. She enjoyed the day as much as anyone present.
Seated by her at the table was a great great grandson, Hendrick Albright.

The honor guests, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Albright seem young. Both enjoy
good health and enjoy their friends. They like to go places and are not
the kind to sit at home and grow old. They are never thought of as being
old. Many lovely gifts were given them on this occasion.

Jasper died on 3 July 1950 at the age of 90 in Alamance Co., NC. He was buried in July 1950 in Friendship UMC Cemetery, Alamance Co., NC.
