GRAHAM — Mr. Joe M. Albright, 80, of 309 Denny Circle, died at 10:55 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill after a critical illness of two days.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Bertha Jackson Albright, who survives, and the son of Mr. Cecil Albright and Mrs. Axie Moore Albright, both deceased. He was retired from Lillien and Hines Cadillac-Olds as a General Motors certified mechanic. He was a self-employed certified mechanic for many years.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Albright-Cooke of Wake Forest and Mrs. Vera A. Harwood of Ringgold, Ga.; three brothers, Mr. Ben Albright of Burlington, Mr. Cecil Albright of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Mr. Ike Albright of Clemmons; two sisters, Mrs. Altavista Pruitt of Burlington and Mrs. Frances Taylor of Haw River; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Henry Monroe Albright.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Graham Presbyterian Church by Dr. William C. Weckerly, pastor. The family will be at the church at 12:30 p.m. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. for visitation and the funeral. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.

GRAHAM — Mrs. Bertha Jackson Albright , 87, of Graham, died on Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Chattanooga following two weeks of declining health.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Monroe Albright , and the daughter of Addison Bailey Jackson and Mary Frances Holloman Jackson, both deceased. She was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Albright-Cooke and husband, Mark, of Wake Forest and Mrs. Vera A. Sharp and husband, Leo, of Ringgold, Ga.; five grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Henry Monroe Albright ; two brothers, Woodrow Jackson and William Jackson; and four sisters, Ola Jackson, Vera Ihrie, Myrtle Finch, and Maybelle Carter.
The funeral will be conducted at Graham Presbyterian Church on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Steve Braswell. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends in the Church Parlor of Graham Presbyterian Church on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m.
