Graveside services with military honors for Albert G. Klapp, 81, of Aurora were held July 23, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home. Mr. Klapp was born October 8, 1917 in Spokane, Missouri. he was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired air force veteran of World Ward II. he married Marguerite J. Brown Dec. 3, 1942 in Ozark, Missouri and she survives. He passed away Monday, July 19, 1999 at 3:20 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Home following a lengthy illness. He is survived by one son and his wife: Albert Gary and Cheri Klapp of Buffalo, Mo. one daughter and her husband: Janette Marlene and Walter Jr. Hall of Galena, 3 brothers: Ned Klapp, A.K. "Gus" Klapp and Alfred Howard, all of Springfield, Missouri, 5 grandchildren: Marla and Carla Cunningham, Walter Jr. Hall, William Paul Hall and Tonya Klapp Jackson, 8 great-grandchildren: Justin and Jerrid Cunningham, Sean and Bridget Cunningham, Colby, Maegan and Caleb Hall and Kelsey Hall. Memorials are suggested to the Heart Fund. He was buried on 23 July 1999 in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, MO.
