Lucy (Page) Haguewood, age 90, of Nixa, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born July 2, 1913 in Ozark, the daughter of Hubert and Janie (Cline) Page. She was a graduate of Ozark High School and married Clarence Haguewood in 1934. Mrs. Haguewood and her husband farmed together for many years. She was a charter member of James River Chapel Church of Christ, and was a member of O.E.S. Ozark Chapter #98. Survivors include a son and his wife, Leslie and Evelyn Haguewood, Nixa; two grandchildren, Janie Haguewood Ott and her husband, Tim, Joplin, and Lee Haguewood, Springfield; two great grandchildren, Aaron and Emma; and a brother, Lee Page and his wife, Dixie, Ozark. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Rev. Victor Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Richwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home with an Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m. She was buried on 2 August 2003 in Richwood Cemetery, Christian Co., MO.²⁵⁸³ She had Social Security Number 491-44-1669.²⁵⁸³ Issued Joplin, MO 1956.

Amos Haguewood. He was a life long resident to the Nixa area. On November 28, 1934 he was united in marriage to Lucy Emma Page. Mr. Haguewood was a charter member of James River Chapel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by: His parents, and two brothers. Survivors include: His wife, Lucy; a son Leslie Haguewood and his wife, Evelyn, Nixa; two grandchildren, Janie Gaither, Shawnee, Kansas, and Lee Haguewood, Springfield; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Emma Page Gaither; and two sisters, Sylvia Thomas, Upland CA, and Vonda Haire, Harrington, KS; other relatives and friends.
