FUNERAL FOR MRS. GREESON HELD FRIDAY
Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Brick Church
for Mrs. Mary Nellie Greeson, age 49 years, wife of B. B. Greeson, who
died at their home at Gibsonville Wednesday, following a long illness
Rev. H. A. Fesperman was in charge of the service, assisted by Rev. C.
E. Hiatt, and the body was interred in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Messrs. C. C. Hammer, J. P. Edwards, J. C. Shaw, T. H.
Boone, P. L. Kivett, Fred Ridge, and D. P. Clapp. Flowers were in
charge of Miss Georgia Clapp and were carried by Misses Minnie, Mamie
and Daisy Clapp, Sallie Shepherd, and Marie Summers, and Mesdames C. C.
Shepherd, .W. R. Zimmerman, Bobbie Beal, J. P. Huffman and Herman and
Tubal Clapp.
A large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives attended the service,
to pay their last tribute to the deceased, who had a large circle of
friends and relatives. Mamie was buried on 3 May 1929 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.²⁷⁰
