He died on 4 August 1869 at the age of 70 in Guilford Co., NC.²⁶⁶ Jacob was buried in August 1869 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.²⁶⁶ Baptized in the Brick Church, sponsors: John Ubelland and wife. (Daniel and Barbara had a son Jacob, but we are not sure that the one born 11 Feb 1798 is theirs). Birth and death dates from Brick Church records. Buried in Brick Church Cemetery. Note says Jacob May of Daniel.

Jacob MAY and Eva Barbara (?) were married on 3 November 1824 in NC.¹⁰¹ Eva Barbara (?) was born in 1800 in Guilford Co., NC.¹⁰¹ She died circa 1838 at the age of 38.

Jacob MAY and Sally STRADER were married on 8 December 1839 in NC.¹⁰¹ Sally STRADER was born circa 1810.¹⁰¹
