Delilah Albright MONTGOMERY and Capt. Benjamin Franklin RONEY were married on 27 August 1839 in Orange Co., NC.¹²⁰ Bondsman - J. Grantay.
Capt. Benjamin Franklin RONEY, son of John RONEY and Mary TROLLINGER, was born about 1816 in Orange Co., NC.¹¹³⁰ He died in 1876 at the age of 60 in Alamance Co., NC. Benjamin F. Roney was in the State Legislature in House of Representatives at Raleigh, NC. His home was a stage coach stop and farm. He is buried at Union Ridge Church Cemetery.
