Union Gap - Mrs Addie L. Rhodes,78, of Yakima died Sunday, June 4, 1989 at the Parkside Nursing Care Center, Union Gap. She was born November 10, 1910 in Yakima to Elmer T. & Mary E. (Graves) Williams. She was raised and educated in Yakima and it was there that she married Leonard Rhodes on September 18, 1929. In her earlier years she was a sorter at several local fruit warehouses. She was also a housewife and homemaker. Mrs Rhodes was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6th Ward and enjoyed genealogy work, gardening and working in her yard. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Elmer & Georgia Rhodes of Yakima. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Rhodes on April 11, 1 958. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at Tahoma Cemetery. Those attending will meet at the grave. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
