IRWIN, MARIE STOOKSBURY - age 96, of Andersonville,Tenn., passed away Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Memorial Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. She was born June 18, 1902, in Loyston, Tenn., the daughter of Nancy and Cas Stooksbury. She was a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Roger S. Irwin; daughters-in-law,Anna L. Irwin and Patricia Irwin; son, Rex Irwin; sisters, Edith Longmire,Blanche Keller, Dora Huffman; brothers, Porter and Hubert Stooksbury. She is survived by: sons, Earl Irwin of Andersonville, Jim and wife, Virginia Irwinof Clinton, Paul Irwin of Clinton; grandchildren, Johnny, Ricky, Danny Irwin of Clinton, Jennifer Moore of Knoxville, David Irwin of Lenoir City; great-grandchildren, Katherine Moore, Tyler, Ethan, Connor Anne Irwin of Clinton;sister, Garnet Williams of Concord; brother, Schular Stooksbury of Concord;sister-in-law, Willie Irwin; and special cousin, Nettie Irwin; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Andersonville United Methodist Church in Andersonville. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Norris Memorial Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton.
