Madison, Jefferson Twp., Lee Co., IA.²¹⁴ From Sid Hall: "By the way, our family lore says that Lewis's name was generally spelled Hewit before the Civil War, but after he came back he signed his name Huett. His son, Noah Tobias Huett spelled his name Huett all of his life and my grandmother, Lewis's granddaughter, spelled her last name Huett. My Uncle Jack Hall is 78 and a retired cardiologist in Indianapolis. His middle name is Huett."
