Sarah CLAPP and Thomas EDWARDS were married in March 1852 in Graves Co., KY.¹⁶⁹³ Thomas EDWARDS¹⁶⁹³, son of John EDWARDS and Sally NOWELL, was born on 8 June 1833 in Graves Co., KY.¹⁶⁹³ "Thomas Edwards enlisted in Company A, Seventh Kentucky Infantry, Gid Brinfod, Captain, Faulkner, Colonel, commanding, in 1862. He was wounded in the hip in the first skirmish, which disabled him from any further service. He returned home in about four months and engaged in farming. In March 1869, he moved with his family to a farm three miles northwest of Blandville; later sold and moved on the adjoining place on which he now resides, and which contains 125 acres in good condition, embellished with good buildings."
