Final rites for Benjamin B. Clapp, 82 (July 9, 1889), of 1707 Sykes St.
will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Rich and Thompson Chapel
in Burlington.
Mr. Clapp died Thursday morning at 2:15 o'clock in a Chapel Hill
hospital following one and a half years of failing health and three
weeks of critcal illness.
The Rev. L.A. Leonard, pastor of St. Mark's Reformed United Church of
Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mark's United Church
of Christ cemetery.
The body will remain at Rich and Thompson Mortuary through the service.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight.
