Ann Clapp Greeson November 14, 2011 Ann Clapp Greeson, 69, of 3419 Hwy 62 East, Liberty, passed away at her residence at 5:20 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2011. A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of J. Alvis Greeson, who survives, and daughter of the late Luther Coble Clapp and Ruth Elizabeth Foster Clapp. Ann was a retired secretary with Northwestern Mutual Insurance in Jerry Long’s office. She was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church, and a former organist. Surviving other than her husband of the home are a sister, Glenda Horner and husband Paul; a sister-in-law, Lynda Clark and husband Jerry; a brother-in-law, Stanley Greeson and wife Judy, all of Burlington; nieces and nephews, Shannon M. Horner, Todd (Shannon G. and Maddie) Horner, Karla (Steve) Moore, Kerrie (Jarad) Corbett, Jerrlynn (Jim) Burke, Dawn (James) Payne, Chris (Brenda) Clark and Scott Clark; and a special friend and companion, Jerilynn. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, at Low’s Lutheran Church with The Rev. David N. Mielke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 – 2:30 PM, prior to the service and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Low’s Lutheran Church -Music Fund, 2136 Hwy 61 South, Liberty, NC 27298 or to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington is in charge of arrangements. She was buried on 16 November 2011 in Low's Lutheran Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC. Ann CLAPP and J.
