Jimmy McRay BRAXTON, son of Archie Ira BRAXTON and Elizabeth Manning HALL, was born on 11 August 1930 in Durham Co., NC.²⁹⁵⁹ He died on 17 February 1979 at the age of 48 in Alamance Co., NC.²⁹⁵⁹ Jimmy was tragically injured on a secondary road in Alamance Co., NC, when his pick-up truck struck a steel cable which had been stretched across the highway, cab high, in the dark. He is buried at Alamance Memorial Park Cemetery.
