Elijah HUNT¹⁷ was born about 1765 in Rowan Co., NC.¹⁶ He died about 1825 in Rowan Co., NC.¹⁷ Elijah was an executor of his father's will of 28 Apr 1807 and witness to brother David's Will of 23 Feb 1811. On 4 Oct 1806 Elijah Hunt received from Jacob Shaver 50 acres of Potter's Creek, being part of a State Grant to William Millsaps and running from him to Jacob Wiseman, Jacob Wiseman, Jr., and Laban Hartley. On 19 Nov 1816 Elijah Hunt sold this property to Hannah Smith, both of Rowan Co. In the 1829 division of the estate of his brother Abraham his children were identified.
