He was the Clerk of Fayette Co., KY from 1866 to 1882 or later. Reported to have had seven children, five living. Some of them buried near him and his Uncle Peter Gordon Hunt in the Lexington, KY Cemetery are probably his children but further details are not available. Allie fought on the Confederate side in the Civil War.
