54. Elizabeth SHARP was born on 8 September 1797 in Campbell Co., TN.33 She died on 4 July 1851 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., AR.33,68 She died shortly after there arrival in Arkansas.

Elizabeth SHARP and John Ludwig ALBRIGHT were married on 4 January 1810 in Campbell Co., TN.69 They inherited a farm near Betterchance (or Oaks Chapel). About the year 1850, the John Albright family along with several of their neighbors descended the rivers in flatboats to settle near Jonesboro, Arkansas. See page 17 UCHS Pathways, March 1990. John Ludwig ALBRIGHT was born on 2 May 1782 in Guilford Co., NC.70 He died on 19 February 1860 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., AR.70,71 Jonesboro is in Craighead Co., Arkansas. As a result of having been kicked by a horse when he was a boy, John was a cripple. Unable to do farm work, he chose to become a tailor. In 1851 John Albright, aided by his children and relatives, built a number of flatboats on the banks of the Clinch River in Campbell County for the purpose of moving to Arkansas. They shoved off on 19 Feb 1851. See page 19 of ACB book for a complete story on the trip.
