Caswell Conrad SHARP14 was born in 1767 in Orange Co., NC.23,24,25 He served in the military about 1776 in Revolutionary War.23 He signed a will on 20 October 1826 in Campbell Co., TN.24 Caswell died before 9 December 1826 in Campbell Co., TN.9,25 An inventory of Conrad Sharp's estate was presented to the probate court of Campbell Co., TN.
He was buried in December 1826 in Lost Creek Cemetery, Union Co., TN.25 Will proven for name at place on date.24 Buried in Lost Creek Cemetery, Union Co., TN. Birth and death dates from page 127, UCHS Pathways article about W. H. Thomas' book. He was a farmer on Lost Creek, TN. The tax list of Anderson Co., TN, 1802, carries his name assessed on 790 acres in Big Valley, 400 acres south of the Clinch River, and 390 acres on Lost Creek. The following year he received an additional 200 acres from his father's will. He may have been a member of the German Reformed Church; some of his children were Primitive Baptists and one son, Jacob, was a Methodist. Cemetery information says 1831 but will probated in 1826?

Caswell Conrad SHARP and Sarah "Sally" GIBBS were married in 1785 in Orange Co., NC.14 Had 10 children. They opened a farm later owned by B.C. Ousley according
to W.H. Thomas. See Dec 1989 UCHS Pathways, page 127. Sarah "Sally" GIBBS was born in 1767 in Orange Co., NC. Union County Heritage, Volume I has her birth date 1768 on page 314. She died in December 1826 in Campbell Co., TN.25 She was buried in December 1826 in Lost Creek Cemetery, Union Co., TN.23
