142. Jacob TROUTT was born in 1748. He died in 1804 at the age of 56 in Knox Co., TN.²³⁹ Barbary PRICE and Jacob TROUTT were married in 1766.

143. Barbary PRICE was born (date unknown). Her last name might not be Price. Not proven.

	i.	George TROUT was born in 1776 in Botetourt Co., VA.239,246 He appeared in the census in 1850 in Knox Co., TN. Knox, 1850, sheet 165 B, page 329, enum. 16 Oct 1850, Reel No: M432-886 line 24, dwelling 994, family 1003 George Troutt 79 M Farmer 900 Va Isaac Troutt 39 M Farmer Tenn Nancy Troutt 36 F Tenn Marry J Troutt 15 F Tenn Sarah Troutt 7 F Tenn Martha Troutt 5 F Tenn Jeremiah Troutt 2 M Tenn He died in January 1852 at the age of 76 in Knox Co., TN.241 George was buried in January 1852 in Troutt Cemetery, McGinnis Road, Corryton, TN.246
	ii.	Catherine TROUTT was born about 1773 in Botetourt Co., VA.247 She was living in 1810 in Botetourt Co., VA.247

	iv.	John TROUT was born (date unknown).
	v.	William TROUTT Sr.248 was born about 1776 in Botetourt Co., VA.247 He died in June 1863 at the age of 87 in Knox Co., TN.247 The county court minutes of 7 Jul 1863 show that H.W.L. Mynatt was paid $8.50 for holding an inquest on the body of WIlliam Troutt, Sr. If further showed that Henry Chiles made a coffing for WIlliam. It is possible he is buried in the Troutt Family Cemetery as he has a daughter buried there. He went with his father and family to TN. He appears as a witness to his sister's marriage on 21 May 1799 in Botetourt Co., VA. After his father, Jacob, died, William inherited the sixty-four and one half acres that his father had bought in 1801, from William Bohannon. Although Barbara was paying the taxes on the land in 1804, by 1806, William was paying the taxes on the property. Moreover, he sold the land to his brother, George, in 1826. William was a large landholder on both Roseberry and Big Flat Creeks. At one time he owned as much as 500 acres. By 1860, William was living with his daughter, Mary Troutt Devault, and was getting quite old. He sold his last land holdings, consisting of 351 1/2 acres, to Samuel G. Tarver on 20 Oct 1856.

	vii.	William "Henry" TROUT was born in 1772. He died in 1828 at the age of 56.
