68. William CASSADAY Sr. died on 26 July 1843.²⁰⁴ Death date from 1813 Cassiday bible in McClung Collection, Knoxville, TN. Elizabeth "Sarah" WHITT and William CASSADAY Sr. were married on 8 March 1796.²⁰⁵ Marriage date from 1813 Cassaday bible in the McClung Collection, Knoxville, TN. The bible lists 15 children with their birth dates. There is a list in ECHOES (?), Volume 19,#1 (Mar 1973) which says that the 1813 bible was given to the McClung Collection in May, 1971 by Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Donahue of Emory Road, Knox Co., Tn. The Donahues live in the old Colonel John Sawyers house. This bible appears to have come from the family of Betsy Cassady who married William Sawyers.

69. Elizabeth "Sarah" WHITT was born in 1765 in SC. She died on 9 November 1857 at the age of 92.²⁰⁴ Parents given by Margaret Gibbs, 317 Tomasee Dr., Cleason, SC 29651.
