49. Charles HUNTER Jr. was born circa 1745 in Rowan Co., NC. He died in 1808 at the age of 63 in Rowan Co., NC. "Hunters of Early Rowen Co, NC": Book 18, pg 558; July 29, 1798; Daniel Hunter of Chesterfield Co, SC appoints his brother, Charles Hunter (Jr) of Rowen Co, NC, his attorner to sell land left by the dec'd Michael Beam on Hunting Creek. Wit: Walter & Basil & Basil Gaiter, Jr. Proved by Basil Gaither in Aug 1803
Book 13, pg 676; Aug 27, 1802; Valentine Hiff of Smith Co, TN & Jacob Roland of Harrison Co, KY, appoint their brother-law, John Sain & Charles Hunter of Rowen Co, NC, their attorneys to sell jointly with their brothers & sisters, some land on both sides of Bare Creek, also two lots in Maryland in
a town formerly known as Hamburg or Funks Town on or near the Potomac River, etc. Wit: John March, Walter Gaither & Basil Gaither. Proved by last named in Feb 1803.

said dec'd, & no wifes sign, let William Moore of Rowen Co, NC, have 319 3/4, 1/3 acre being excluded as a burial ground, on the Yadkin River & both sides of Ber Creek, net ? Stuart for $1,000.00. Granville granted George Boone on Dec. 21, 1765 who let Joseph Hughes & his wife, Molly, have it by lease & re-lease on 1-24-1772 & registered on 10-2-1772 (see book 8, pg 8) who let Valentine Huff have by indenture on June 12, 1776 (See book 8, pg 363)).
Book 18, pg 746; July 1803; William Hunter of the Commonwealth of KY, (Jefferson Co), appoints his uncle,Charles Hunter of Rowen Co, NC, his attorney to dispose of land in the forks of the Yadkin, which formerly belonged to dec'd, Michael Beam. Wit: Basil & Walter Gaither on July 27, 1803 Book 19, pg 882; Jan 8, 1806; Charles Hunter, senior or heirs, of Michael Beam dec'd as an attorney for the other heirs, let Aaron Latham have 165 acres on Hunting Creek next to Richard Leech, John Baxter, David Maxwell, Robert Latham & Benjamin Wilson, for 180 pounds. Charles HUNTER Jr. and Eve Rosannah HUFF were married in NC. Eve Rosannah HUFF was born circa 1752. She died in 1825 at the age of 73 in Rowan Co., NC.
