Funeral services will be conducted here at graveside Friday afternoon, January 14th at 3 p.m. for Joe Benton Clapp, who died in Houston Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. Mr. Clapp, 72, was a former resident of Eagle Lake and served as city marshal here for a number of years.
The body will be brought from Houston by Boulevard Funeral Home and graveside services will be conducted at the Lakeside Cemetery. The deceased was a brother of the late T. C. Clapp of this community.
